Letter from the First Vice President
Hi Ladies –
The daisies that were painted in the April workshop are beautiful. I’ve seen one of the projects that was
separated and painted on two companion canvases. Great idea! Cheri, thanks so much for another great
class!
Our May 6
th
workshop project is ‘Relief’, taught by Noreen Walker. We will be using an unusual medium to
create this unique project – glue. You’ll be sorry if you miss this one! I have’ a feeling that we’ll be seeing
more projects using this medium after you’ve tried it. Noreen has completed some different designs using this
technique and will bring them to help stimulate your creative juices.
And, on June 3
rd
our workshop project is “Nuts for Sammy”, taught by Cindy Makowski. And guess what!
No advance prep is required but there is a $10 supply fee for the special surface. Tools will be available to
purchase @ $2/each (2 are needed.) but some will also be available for you to use in class. Many of you
purchased a set of tools in February, so you can use those.
Our July workshop is ‘Witchie Poo’, taught by Lee Fasnacht. This cute pumpkin will make a wonderful
addition to your Fall or Halloween décor. Please note that his workshop is scheduled on July 8
th
, which is the
second Saturday of the month due to the 4
th
of July weekend the previous week.
Registrations for the May, June and July Workshops are now being taken. If you mail in your workshop
donations, please make all checks payable to CASH.
You can always contact me by email (rcm0335@gmail.com) or phone (386-338-3137), if you have any
questions. Please note that my address has changed to 36 Whitefeather Lane, Flagler Beach, FL 32136 and
also the change to my land line.
I’ll be seeing you at the Workshop on May 6
th
, if not before

surfaces. Our Chapter children’s project is Kids R First which
is photo boxes being painted for local foster children ranging
in age from infant to 18 years.
